A Lesson in Sadness
I was picking one of my friends up this morning for an 8am final paper submission. I got to his house and he was packing up and stuff. He gives his son a big hug and a kiss. Then he gives his wife a big hug and a kiss. Then his son points to me, like “She’s next!” No, sorry, not everyone gets kisses in the morning, little dude. It was kind of awesome.
