My brother was in a massive car accident seven years ago. They thought they’d have to amputate his feet. They didn’t. Then they thought he’d never walk. He did. Then they said that he’d made an incredible discovery in spite of the odds and, while he’d never be a runner, they were amazed with his determination.
I talked to him on the phone this morning. He’s started back at the gym recently.
He’s running a couple of miles a day now.
